During the show 4 or 6 lucky cases are shown before commercial breaks and viewers are told that they can text their pick to a specific number. Then the people guessing correctly will be entered to win between $20,000 and $100,000 depending on the show.

Now, I’m a little wary of entering anything that involves sending a text message because of heard of all the text message scams that are going on. Entering via text message charges you $1 per message in this case. You’re allowed to enter up to 10 times during each show. That could cost $10 per show.

Fortunately you can also enter on the internet without it costing you anything. You just have to go to http://www.nbc.com/dond/ and click on the lucky case game. You’re also allowed to enter 10 times online without it costing you a dime.

Entries must be received within 40 minutes of the first announcement for the game so you have to log on during the show. It airs next on Wednesday at 8 eastern. Check www.nbc.com/dond for other listings.
