Winning At Sweepstakes

GMC is running a contest throughout the football season. You’ve probably seen the commercials that urge you to go to www.gmc.com/nfl. There are some great prizes to be had and they’ve actually made it kind of fun to enter.

Now, of course, a contest like this can never be fixed so that you’ll be assured to win, but I’ll tell you some tips that will help you maximize your chances by maximizing your entries in the shortest amount of time.

First let’s look at what you can win:

Prizes
217 people will win. The total value of all prizes is just over $350,000.

• The one grand prize winner will win 3 GMC vehicles: A 2008 GMC Acadia, A 2008 GMC Sierra Denali, and a 2008 Yukon Denali.
• 16 Weekly prize winners will each get a trip to the super bowl with 5 nights of hotel stay
• 200 instant winners (12 or 13 each week) will win a $50 nflshop.com gift certificate

You’re allowed to enter the contest 3 times per week. To enter you must go to www.gmc.com/nfl. Your 3 entries automatically qualify you for 3 grand prize chances and 1 chance for the weekly and instant prizes. In order to enter you’ll have to play the games that they have on the website. These are the trivia game, the film room, and “Who wants it more”. The trivia game is self explanatory. In the film room you need to watch one of the short truck commercials and then click on the “hotspots” on the truck afterwards. “Who wants it more” is where you pick the winner of this week’s Monday Night Football game.

• You can save time by not even reading the questions in the trivia contest. It doesn’t matter what your score is you get a contest entry anyway.
• Performing any of the tasks will get you a weekly entry, but only the film room gives you the chance to be an instant winner.
• The week ends and begins just before kickoff of the Monday night game (8:51pm to be exact). You can do most of your entering for 2 weeks on Monday night.

• The winner of each instant prize is the first person to go through the film room after the pre-selected time for that prize. This means that your better off doing the film room at a time that isn’t during any nfl games. Since the instant win times are spread throughout the week you have a better shot if you enter at a less busy time. The entries are going to be through the roof during games.
